Best Friends

Last fall our neighbors moved away - and it was terrible! Their daughters Jerrico and McKadee were best friends with Savannah and Audrey. Exactly the same age and exactly the same grade. In fact McKadee and Audrey were in the same kindergarten class (Shalice and I arranged it!) Anyway it has been so sad for all of us to have them gone. But the worst part of all was their plans changed and they moved a few weeks ahead of schedule, which ended up being while we were in Disneyland and we didn't even get to say goodbye. Anyway we have kept in touch and the Keppners came in June for a family reunion so we got the kids together to play. They picked up right where they left off and had so much fun together! We miss them terribly, but it was such a fun day! Hopefully they'll come again soon for a visit!

The girls are so cute together! We want them to move back! It was such a nice visit and it was so good to see Shalice too! I was emotional as we were leaving because I was sad for the girls it is so hard to lose a best friend it was hard to watch them crying in the back seat! It was totally worth it though to see them and get to have a real goodbye! We were sure lucky to have them for neighbors!
