Audrey at Family Home Evening at a friend's house, they have horses so they are a very popular summertime place to visit! We rode horses, took wagon rides around the pasture and did plenty of visiting. It was so much fun!

The girls greeting Mama K! They were so excited to see them! It is hard having their grandparents in North Carolina, we just love the time we do get to spend with them! The girls were beyond ecstatic when they bounded out of the elevator into Mama K's arms!
Our Time Share in Park City! It was super super nice! Fanciest place I have ever stayed! I felt like a fish out of water, but by the end of the week I was thinking, "this is the life!" It was fabulous, so many amenities and the condo itself was top of the line! LOVED IT! Felt completely spoiled rotten and loved every minute of it! The row of windows in the middle was our exact condo! OOOOO LA LA!!
Another view of the condos. It was so fancy and so cute! It was so much fun to stay there and there was so much to do and see, you didn't hardly have to leave the resort, but we did! We were so lucky to have Larren's parents treat us to a stay there!

June 12th! Jonas' birthday and it couldn't have been spent at a better place! We went to Promontory Point, where the East Coast and West Coast railroads met. Since he is one serious train lover, he loved every minute of it! It was kind of a chilly, breezy day, but we didn't mind at all! It was so fun to be there and the reenactment was AWESOME! We had a great time! Later that night we dined on the fine cuisine of Chuck E. Cheese (not) but the kids love that place and it was just where a birthday should be spent! The kids had a wonderful time!!

The next day it was off to This is the Place Park, the kids love going there and getting to step back in time and imagine themselves as pioneers! It was a perfect day and finally the weather was fantastic!

The girls in school, the school marm took her job very serious and the girls got right to work learning the Deseret Alphabet, each learned to write their name using that alphabet, it was really interesting. I had no idea there was such a thing!
It was so beautiful and the flowers are gardens were lovely! One of my favorite places to visit in Salt Lake!
My favorite picture of the whole vacation! Grace with Great-Grandpa Covert, they were the perfect pace for each other, one with little short legs and one with legs that were tired and needed to take it slow! They walked side by side most of the day, slow and steady and deep in conversation! So precious! Grace really took to him and loved walking with him! It was so sweet!
Olympic Park! Larren was back in Idaho this day, duty called and he had to be in Court and there was no getting around it, but we vacationed on without him! This is a picture of me, Larren's mom and Larren's dad on the zip line! I had never before done anything like it! It was amazing! I would do it again in a heartbeat! Sorry you missed it Larren!!

The girls trying on a bobsled for size! There was so much to see and do, later we took all of the girls down the Alpine Slide, (sorry no pics) but it was a screaming fun time! My little daredevils all loved it! They were all disappointed they didn't meet the age or weight requirement for the zip line, but the Alpine Slide was a blast too!
More pool practice! I think that would be so hard in all that gear, but it was so cool to watch!

We also took a trip to the Hogle Zoo, they had a brand new baby elephant, kind of hard to see, but she's right there under her mother's trunk!

Happy Birthday little man!! We had a construction theme party and BBQ this year it was so fun to have all our family over and spend time celebrating with Jonas!

We did the Liberty Walk this summer as a family/extended family! It was so neat! I love feeling patriotic and thinking of all of our freedoms! It is such a priveledge to be an American! Savannah carried that flag the whole entire way! I think this will become a 4th of July tradition! We really enjoyed be part of this community event!
